Guy H. Yuval, Senior Partner

Guy Yuval is a co-founder of the firm, and head of the Corporate Department. Mr. Yuval's contribution to the firm is his vast, hands-on business and financial experience. His expertise lies in all areas of financial transactions including planning and structuring domestic and international acquisition companies and funds, emerging growth businesses, asset management, investment funds, reverse mergers and regulatory and compliance matters. Mr. Yuval specializes in capital markets with an emphasis on hedge funds, venture capital funds, capital protected and structured products and derivatives, private equity funds and investment trusts.

Mr. Yuval regularly advises domestic and foreign companies and individuals on issues relating to business, commercial, capital markets and a variety of other strategic investments and financial matters.

Mr. Yuval received his law degree at the prestigious University of Reading, England. He has been admitted to practice in Israel since 1995.

Ophir Sabari, Senior Partner

Mr. Sabari is a co-founder of the firm, and head of the Litigation Department. Prior to opening the practice in 1999, Mr. Sabari gained an impressive reputation as a litigator, handling significant Supreme Court and district court litigations, arbitrations and enforcement proceedings. While he is an accomplished attorney in numerous areas of law, his specialty lies in domestic and international arbitration and banking and financial services litigation. Mr. Sabari's practice includes transactional matters and complex commercial litigation.

Mr. Sabari regularly advises individual and corporate clients of all industries, on a variety of business, legal, anti-trust and regulatory matters, as well as on capital market issues. His clients have included government municipalities, major construction companies and financial institutions. He has represented clients in high profile, commercial and banking cases which have set legal precedent in Israel.

Mr. Sabari also participated in litigating the first class action suit to be brought in Israel involving securities, which resulted in a multi-million dollar settlement in favor of the plaintiffs. He is a contributing writer in several of Israel's leading financial publications and is frequently quoted in the Israeli media, in newspapers such as Globes, The Marker and Ha'aretz as well as on prime television and radio stations such as Channel Two and Reshet Gimmel. Mr. Sabari has also appeared on various panels as an expert on legal, banking and financial matters

Mr. Sabari received his law degree at Tel Aviv University. He has been admitted to practice in Israel since 1993.

Ori Arad, Managing Partner

Mr. Arad is a Managing Partner in the firm's Corporate Department. Mr. Arad joined Sabari-Yuval in 2003, bringing with him a wide range of expertise in the area of capital markets, and cross border transactions. With a background and degrees in both law and business, Mr. Arad's primary areas of practice include corporate law, securities, commercial transactions, investment funds, asset management and related financial regulatory matters, with a particular emphasis on hedge funds, structured products and private equity funds. Mr. Arad also regularly advises corporate clients on the full range of matters involving corporate governance and regulatory compliance. His clients have included those in the construction, banking & finance and information technology industries.

Mr. Arad has successfully lead international restructuring and the expansion of hedge funds and private funds. He is also an expert at establishing onshore and offshore legal and corporate structures.

Chen Bahar, Partner

Prior to joining Sabari – Yuval, Mr. Bahar practiced law for several years at the law firm of Lipa, Meir & Co., first as an intern and afterwards as an attorney, representing some of the leading economic figures in the Israeli market in complex litigation cases and insolvency procedures. Mr. Bahar mainly specializes in commercial litigation, focusing on complex dispute management and control struggles in corporations, and has broad experience in the field of capital markets and banking law. Mr. Bahar represents institutional entities in the capital market, investment mangers, and domestic and international clients including private and public companies. For several years, Mr. Bahar has been serving in a pro-bono frame as the legal counsel for the non-profit organization "Larger than Life".

Rachel Unger, Associate

Ms. Unger is a Senior Associate in the firm's Corporate Department. Her practice focuses on a broad range of international, corporate and commercial law with an emphasis on the financial and transactional aspects. Ms. Unger specializes in establishing international onshore and offshore legal and corporate structures and she has managed and advised clients, including public companies, on dealings with international financial institutions and international funds. She has worked with such international corporate banking institutions such as HSBC, Barclays and UBS.

Ms. Unger has also represented various private and institutional investors in venture capital investments, joint ventures and mergers & acquisitions. Her practice includes advising corporate clients and international businesses on matters involving corporate governance, and regulatory compliance as well as establishing and maintaining corporate structures.

Ms. Unger received her law degree from the University of Essex in England.

Amir Pinto, Associate

Mr. Pinto is an Associate in the firm's Litigation Department and his practice focuses on corporate law, banking/finance, real estate and commercial law. Mr. Pinto has successfully represented clients in complex commercial and business litigation matters involving banking and financial issues, against opposing counsel from some the largest law firms in Israel. He has also represented both plaintiffs and defendants in various civil disputes involving real estate, construction, insurance and general contract issues, including suits against the government and its municipalities. Mr. Pinto has litigated in district courts across the country and his successes have appeared in such leading Israeli publications as Globes, Ha'aretz and Yediot Achronot. Mr. Pinto's client-base is comprised of corporations and individuals, both domestic and international.

Mr. Pinto first joined Sabari-Yuval as an intern in 2002. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Pinto served as a mentor and counselor for ISEF -a not for profit organization aimed at promoting advanced studies for underprivileged children in Israel.

Bena Ochs, Associate

Ms. Ochs is an Associate in the firm's Litigation Department. Her practice focuses on international and bankruptcy law, debtor and creditor's rights and conflicts of law issues. Her skills include in-depth research, and advising on jurisdictional matters relating to international transactions, with a particular emphasis on US law. Ms. Ochs is also the firm's expert on US bankruptcy law, and is involved in one of the firm's largest liquidation cases, taking place internationally.

Ms. Ochs joined Sabari-Yuval following several years of practice in the United States as both in-house and outside-counsel for large international and US based insurance companies. Her past experience includes arbitrations and trials. Her areas of practice include insurance law, corporate regulatory /compliance matters and intellectual property.

Hilit Arel , Associate

Ms. Arel is an associate in the firm's Litigation Department. She recently joined Sabari-Yuval from the law offices of Shavit, Bar-on, Gal-on, Tzin, Nov, Yagur & Co. Ms. Arel brings with her solid experience in areas of anti-trust, property, corporate and civil/commercial law. Her most recent accomplishments include a major anti-trust suit against Israel's importers of foreign automobiles and a class action suit against all the key food manufacturers in Israel. Ms. Arel also served as assistant to the General Counsel of (the former) Dankner Investment Group and has represented such prominent clients as the government of Israel, on tender committees.

Ms. Arel's areas of expertise include corporate law and governance, public tenders, joint ventures and loan and trade agreements. She also counsels clients on structuring real estate transactions, real estate development and investment matters. Ms. Arel has represented both local and foreign entities and individuals, in transactional matters as well as in complex civil, commercial and corporate litigation in the form of class action suits, arbitrations/mediations and full-scale trials. She has made appearances in courts and tribunals throughout the country.

Ms. Arel is a trained and experienced mediator and is currently studying for her masters' degree in 'Conflict Management and Negotiation' , at Bar Ilan University.

Divon Farkas, Associate

Mr. Farkas is an Associate in the Firm's Litigation Department and his practice focuses on commercial and corporate litigation. Mr. Farkas also has experience in all aspects of complex civil litigation, including arbitrations, trials, appeals, class action lawsuits, derivative claims, control contests in companies and partnerships, real state disputes, banking and more. His cases have received recognition in leading Israeli Media. Mr. Farkas's clients include domestic and international, private and corporate entities. Mr. Farkas joined Sabari-Yuval following several years of practice at one of Israel's premier law firms (Berkman Wechsler Bloom & Co.’s litigation department). In the course of his studies, he served as an articled clerk to Central District Court Chief Justice Hila Gerstel, was a member of the editorial staff of the Tel Aviv University Law Review, and took part in the activity of a clinic for rights in criminal proceedings.

Orit Tovim, Associate
